About Petersburg

Pastor Shawn and Elder Maxine Whitehead are the Campus Pastors of Kingdom Life Christian Church of Petersburg, established on November 10, 2019. Jointlythey have been commissioned to reconcile lost souls, spread the love of God, preach the Gospel, and establish “kingdom minded” people in Petersburg, Virginia, and the surrounding areas.

Pastor Shawn, a native of Columbus, Ohio, obtained his formal education from Liberty University, receiving a Bachelor’s in Multi-Disciplinary Studies and a Master’s in Theological Studies.

Elder Maxine, a native of Dinwiddie, Virginia, holds professional certificates in Business Management and Christian Mentor and Life Coaching, while currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Marriage and Family Counseling at Liberty University.

Additionally, Pastor Shawn and Elder Maxine graduated from Sonship School of the Firstborn in 2011. They have been married for over 15 years and are the proud parents of two daughters and two sons and are the grandparents of eleven.
